Finally....

Hello fellow followers and people who read my blog yet don't follow! It's been like almost 5 months since I've done a post. Sorry. I was very busy with life and kind of forgot to. I've also been busy with tumblr!

Yes, I have a tumblr and you can follow it at shiningdays0330.tumblr.com! I don't post much, just warning you. I mostly reblog. So what has happened in these wonderful days that I've been gone?

1) Shinee  made a comeback twice! Both were amazing... Indeed. Taemin or TaeMAN has really improved his singing. Same with Minho! He got a lot more parts, probably as much as Key now!

2) Hello Venus made a comeback!

I really have bad memory. Taeyeon and Hyoyeon have an instagram. I would follow them if I had an instagram.

I'll do my best to do more posts! School's almost over, so I 'll be doing a lot more posts! I have to go back to studying for social studies so bye for now!

Happy New Year's Eve and for people who are already in the new year, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
What a wonderful year it was!

Let's look back at the wonderful moments of this year(the ones I remember)!

1. Big Bang's powerful comeback with "Alive" and "Still Alive"
    I never really had an interest in Big Bang, but I make an effort to! In this album, I really liked the songs Blue and Fantastic Baby. Big Bang was amazing this year!

2. Shin-hwa's Return
    Legendary group Shin-hwa came back after a long time! I'm unfamiliar with this group, as they are not in my generation.

3. SHINee's long-awaited comeback with "Sherlock"
    This was an interesting mini-album. Shinee's teasers made me feel awkward, especialy Taemin's!!!! I prefered their other songs over this one, but I still like it!! Shinee's so grown up now!!! I hope Shinee has more than one Korean comeback!!!

4. Girl's Generation's first sub-unit TaeTiSeo
    Wow!! I loved "Twinkle"!!!! TaeTiSeo was one of the best sub units ever!!!

5. Kahi graduates After School
    This was sad. Kahi was my second favorite member after Nana. I hope she does well as a soloist!

6. Psy's Gangnam Style
    This was one of the most surprising songs!! I didn't expect a Korean song to become this popular!!!! I'm proud of Psy and whoever composed, directed, wrote, and choreographed this song!!! They must be happy to get all this popularity!!

7. Girls Generation's Yuri and Jessica's acting debuts
    I don't know much about how Jessica did in acting(I'm sure she did great) in "Wild Flowers". I'm proud of my bias Yuri for getting so many praises for acting so well in "Fashion King"! I watched a few episodes and she did well for her first time!

8. To The Beautiful You
    This is the only drama I watched and I'm glad I did! It was a great drama and I highly recommend it!!

9. Shinee's Minho's and f(x)'s Sulli's acting debuts
    I'm proud(again) to say they did pretty well for their first time. I hope they get more roles in future dramas!

10. T-ara's Controversy
      ...T-ara's been recieving lots of hate for this controversy. I never listened to T-ara's music, so this has nothing to do with me. This was really sad. It was shocking,too.

11. Love!
      There were so many rumors of people dating and confirmations of dating this year!

12. HaHa and Byul's Wedding
     Congratulations to HaHa and Byul for getting married! Byul's dress was pretty! I hope they live a happy life, together.

13. Wonder Girls' Sun's Wedding
      She's getting married! Congratulations Sun!!!! :)

2013 is a year that feels special to me. I'm not quite sure why, but I feel something big will happen!!

Winter Break

Hey! It's been a long time since I've posted things, but now it's winter break for me!!!! Yay!!

They both are good dramas.

I can't wait until SNSD's comeback!!!
They haven't done anything in kpop for a long time for awhile. Anyway, I'm thinking about changing my blog name from Kpop Refresher to something else. I'm not sure what though. Any ideas?

Hi! Sorry about not posting for a while! Consider this long time I haven't posted as a hiatus. I may have another haitus soon. Sorry! ^_^
 How was your Thanksgiving? Mine was fun.

I've been hearing rumors that Shinee will be disbanding! :( I don't want that to happen!!!!! Shinee is my favorite and my first kpop group I liked. The first kpop song I ever listened to was Shinee's Replay. They probably won't disband though(trying to convince myself they won't). Otherwise, there would be a lot of anger all over the world.

The good thing is that SNSD or Girl's Generation released their Japanese album! Most of the songs are really good!

The MAMA Awards:

    I didn't really like the awards this year. I'm glad Shinee and Big Bang and all those other kpop groups won an award, but no category made me want a certain group to win. I wasn't as eager to see the winners as last year.

 

It's almost December! I love December! It's a time of the year where many families spend time together, and it snows! It's a ...Happy month!

 

Other News:

SNSD is releasing a new Korean album in January 2013! I'm really excited for it! They're also releasing an American album. I think it will be more successful than "The Boys" because Gagnam Style by Psy is kind of helping kpop be recognized. I think people will actually pay attention to SNSD now that they saw that kpop can actually be good.

A lot of people are freaking out because.there's a huge hurricane called Hurricane Sandy in the Northeast. I'm kind of excited because there's usually never any hurricanes around here. The power might go out too. I hope if the power goes out, it goes out at night because then I  could my flashlight! :)

It's so windy outside that I could hear the wind from inside all the way in my bedroom. That's very windy because it's hard to hear anything in my room. The good thing is no school today or tomorrow!!! I feel bad for people in south New Jersey, Maryland, and all those southern places because their streets are flooded. It's even snowing somewhere!

October!!!!

Hi!!! October is finally here!! October is one of my favorite months!! Why? It has Halloween! I love Halloween! When I was little, I loved to dress up and go trick-treating. I liked to say "Trick or treat!" more than getting candy! Of course, now I like the candy more! Also, I like October because it isn't hot or isn't cold! It's just the way I like it. Well, sometimes it's not, but mostly it is.

The songs(or more like ballads; I'm currently obsessing over many ballads) I like are(in no particular order):

1. BoA- Only One
This song got me listening to more of BoA's songs. It's very dancy.

2. SNSD- Forever
I am in love with this song!!!! It is amazing!!!! Especially the chorus!

Another great ballad of SNSD's!

This is their new song! It's catchy.

School starts...

Hi! My school starts tomorrow! I can finally see my friends after a long time!! Yay!!

I watched To the Beautiful You episode 5 and am currently watching 6. It's such a good drama!

My Thoughts for Episode 5:

1. I thought it was cute when Minho saves Sulli from the swimming pool.

2. I wonder who pushed Sulli in the pool.

3. I was thinking "NOO!!!!!!" when Minho's neclace falls into the pool! :(

4. I thought it was cute when Lee Hyun Woo thought he didn't do much help in saving Sulli.

5. I thought Sulli was kind to Minho when she tries to find his necklace in the water.

6. I was like "Yay!!!!" when Minho decides to jump!!

7. I was sooo sad when Sulli leaves a note to Minho saying she's leaving to America and Minho's face is like "What?!?! You leave when I have my first comeback in a while!"

Here's the new song by Girl's Generation that I really like! It's really nice to hear and calm.

Emotions and Cute Scenes(Spoilers for To the Beautiful You!!)

Hi! I finished the first four episodes of To The Beautiful You. They were amazing. I mean both Sulli and Minho acted really well. I could totally see the emotions in their eyes. Another thing is that this drama has cute love scenes! One is when there's a bus that was about to splash Sulli, but Minho grabs her and stands in front of her so she won't get wet. Don't guys do that for girls? Minho isn't supposed to know Sulli is a girl. I'm thinking he knew before but never told anyone. Another cute scene was after that evil Chang Hyun took Sulli to the "grocery store" to tell her that he knows that she's a girl and wants to take advantage of the fact she's a girl. This scene happens when they have school vacation. Minho already suspects something when he asked Seungri's mother if she asked Chang Hyun to go the grocery store. So he goes to find Sulli and saves her! He starts fighting with Chang Hyun. Well, Minho doesn't get hit by Chang Hyun. Chang Hyun leaves. Then Minho says" I'm sorry I was late" to Sulli because he felt he should've came earlier to rescue her. That's so cute!!!!! Then he hugs her which is sweet. What I like about Minho's character is that he acts like he hates Sulli, but is so concerned about her when something happens to her.

Another scene wasn't cute, but sad and made me cry. It was the end of episode 4 where Minho finds out Sulli's a girl and tells her to get out. He also says if she won't go, he will and to get out of his sight. He also says that he was going to quit jumping anyway. Later, Lee Hyun Woo sees her sad outside, so he comes and asks her why she's down. She says it's because she only does damage to people. That line made my crying increase. It's so sad. 

Overall, this drama might be one of my favorites!!!! I love it!!! Please make an attempt at watching it!!!! You will really like it!!

To the Beautiful You and Lots More!

Hey! I started watching "To the Beautiful You"! Minho's character is really mysterious, serious, and quiet. It seems interesting. I feel really bad for Sulli because when she tried to introduce herself to the male students they teased her. One guy threw a banana peel at her.

Anyway, last night, I spent an hour trying to scrape leftover brownie crumbs off the pan I made it in. It was annoying, but I did it. Apparently the cooking spray I used for the pan didn't work correctly which made the bottom layer of the brownies stick to the pan and harden.

So today, my plans are making red velvet cupcakes. I wonder how that will turn out.

I'm Back!!!

Hey!! I'm back from India! I had a great time there and heard about lots of strange and creepy things going on. Overall, I had lots of fun with my cousins! I have a lot to catch up on kpop though like has Secret come back yet or has T-ara released any new albums?

Anyway, I am not done with Love Rain. I'm only on episode 13. I'm almost done! I'm looking forward to the drama To The Beautiful You. Why?
Three Reasons:
1. Minho is in it! <3<3<3  

2. Sulli is in it!

3. I like the story of the original Japanese drama Hana Kimi and the Korean version To The Beautiful You(they are similar).

Summer!

 Hey! School's finally over! I kind of wish school would come a little quicker because I want to see my friends! I won't be doing a post unitl a very long time maybe 2 months because I'll be somewhere else! I'm really excited because I'm going to India! I haven't seen my grandmother in a long time! Anyway, even though there will be access to an Internet in India, I'll be too busy to post! Sorry! To make up for 2 months of non-blogging, I'll make this a long post!

I'm going to the beach with my friend's family this weekend! I'm excited! Also, I obsessed with some really good songs which I'll post right here!

Memorial Day Weeekend!

Hi! I just remembered I forgot to tell you about my Memorial Day Weekend, so here I am! For my Memorial Day Weekend , I went to Minnesota! I had a really fun time there! I stayed at a huge palace- like hotel called Oakridge. It was really pretty inside. There was a grand piano(the kind you see at piano concerts) there and people were allowed to play it.

Important Things That Must Be Known:

1) I went to the Mall of America! It's the world's largest mall! Here are some pictures:

 That is a Lego place where almost everything is made of Legos!


 This is Nickelodeon Universe! It has a lot of rides that are based on Nickelodeon characters. If you look closely, you can spot Spongebob's Pineapple home at the far right!

Hello! June is finally here!! Hooray! Only a few more weeks of school! I completed all my May resolutions except one(the drawing of Taeyeon). Right now, I'm trying to keep my A's in science and math and trying to finish Love Rain! I'm on episode 8. Also, I'm excited for SNSD's new song called Paparazzi! Even though I don't normally listen to Japanese music, I like SNSD so...yeah.

I want to watch SM Entertainment's movie I AM. It seems interesting. It already released in Asia and it has English subtitles,so I think it may release in America!!!! :) I doubt that though. :( I tried finding it online but it was always blocked because of copyright claims. Hey. Here I am at 1:30 am on a Sunday morning doing my homework because I can't do it later. These days I've been procrastinating sooo much. I'm so tired. Do you know anyway I can stop procrastinating?

Hey!! I have a few funny SHINee facts I found online so here they are!!

1.  SHINee's Key was spotted somewhere wearing sequined hot pants. When asked by paparazzi what the occasion was he replied "Thursday." (lol)

2. Jonghyun usually gets the feeling a demon is lying on him while he is sleeping.

3. When Taemin was in Paris, he always asked for rice. But the people in Paris don't eat rice. But whenever SHINee went out to eat, he would still always ask if they had fried rice.

4. When Minho was a trainee, he was the maknae(youngest one). He thought he would be the maknae forever until Taemin came and took the title way. He feels a little regret but he also feels special and happy because now he has someone to take care of. Now that he knows how it feels to be a maknae, he can take care of Taemin even more!!! (aww, so cute!)

5. Shinee's manager is worried about Onew because he is very clumsy.(lol)

6. Shinee only knew their debut date a month before it(wow).
